The Watch Stops Here

Today I saw her taping her watch a few times. Then it was off to the watch store. Very small place with all kinds of clocks, watches, and even some jewelry in these long cases. Lots of things in here, but nothing to eat. I kept trying to get back outside, since this place was so small, I could almost make it to the door, but she kept calling me, and pulling on the leash, so I couldn't go too far. Ahhh, so frustrating. Why do people need time pieces anyway? I always know when I need to eat and take a walk. Yes, life is simple and uncomplicated when you're a dog. Snort. Snort.

Pet Adoption

Today we stopped by a place outside of a pet store. It was a pen with 8 small dogs. There was a young man and a young woman standing outside the pen, each holding a small dog. There were minature Pinchers, Chihuahuas, a Yorkie, a Terrier mix, and a Beagle. She picked me up so I could see these little dogs. Of course, the dogs started barking. Maybe they wanted me to to get in the pen with them? Don't know and didn't get to find out. I know it made me happy to already have a home and someone that loves me as much as she does. Of course, I think I'm easy to love. How could how you not love a face like this...my underbite makes me look like I'm always wearing a smile. Inwardly too, I think I am always wearing a smile. I sure hope all of these folks get adopted and have a loving home soon like I do.

Eye've Seen It All Now

Another new experience...a visit to the eye doctors. Fortunately, I didn't have to get my eyes checked too. Wouldn't want someone putting drops in my eyes. They water enough as it is. She's always wiping them too. Besides, I think I see just fine. I know I can spot a squirrel a block away, so I must have 20/20 vision. Don't need an eye chart for that, as it's all very clear to me. She was getting new glasses. I would have liked a pair of glasses too, sunglasses, since it's really hard to see in bright sunlight. Makes me squint. Then you get more wrinkles, already have enough of them. I don't know how I'd keep a pair of sunglasses on my face, since my nose is so flat. So many problems to solve and nowhere to put them. Hmm.
