seat belt for dogs
Used to be, Mom would let me sit in the seat next to her. I don't like car rides, I know most dogs do. So, I would make my way over to her lap. I felt safe and secure there. Since then, Mom has me in the backseat in this seat belt like harness for dogs. I know, safety first, but I don't like being in the backseat by myself. It's lonely back here, plus, sort of scary. Too far from her. What if someone hits us? Where's the escape button on this thing? At least if I am in the frontseat wrapped around her waist, and something happens, she's like the life preserver for me. She's my safety net, so I know I'll be okay.

Greeting Cards
After clothing shopping, it was time to shop for greeting cards. Always a birthday or two that require a greeting card. She never has to worry about getting one for me, since all I need is something that tastes good, more toys, a long walk, and a good back scratch when it's my birthday. Not sure when it is, but I am ageless. Snort. Others may not like being reminded they are a year older, but it's all subject to interpretation. I hope we're not in here too long, as there is nothing of interest here for me.
Shopping
Gift cards usually mean time to shop. She doesn't really like to shop, but doesn't want to waste the card. I don't like shopping unless it involves a toy or a treat for me. How can you pass up a chance to bounce on a hedgie or chew on a chicken strip? Not easy and definitely not me. I'm in it to chew on it, that's for sure. If she has to try on something, even worse...then we are in a fitting room that is so small, with bad lighting, small amount of air, definitely no food in there for me. And, I certainly don't even expect a squirrel to pass by that I can chase after. Not a chance. Now if the salesperson wants to put a squeaky or kong toy under the door for me, it's a whole different story. I hope she makes up her mind soon, this is so boring!
