Calendars, she has so many and they all have dogs that look like me on them. Why isn't my picture on one of them? That's what I want to know. I can strike a pose better than the rest of the pack.
I know I look better than any of these other dogs.
None of them have an under-bite like me. Definitely a selling point. I would make a good calendar dog. Got the looks, the smarts, and the personality. What's not to like? Definitely a triple threat, looking for a triple treat. Snort.

Sunglasses
Yes, it's bright outside. Makes me squint, hope I don't get crows feet, whatever that is on my face. She's got sunglasses for the bright light, but I don't. They would be good to wear I suppose, but I don't like anything on my face or head. Too restricting. Sometimes we stop into a place that sells sunglasses. She tries a pair on, looks at herself in the mirror, then wants to see how they look on me. Naturally I back away. No thanks. I'll deal with the brightness my own way.
On The Hunt
I think in my other life, I must have been a cat, because I don't like car rides, getting wet, or being picked up. I do love chasing after a mouse or jumping on a bird on the sidewalk. Dogs are predators, but I seem to look to go after anything that moves. The expression, "catting around" may be about a cat, but it relates to me even though I am a French Bulldog and proud of it. My Own Inner Compass
I think a sense of direction is something a dog is born with. It's their own inner compass. Wherever we are,
I always seem to know my way around. Even if it's a new place, with new streets. Of course, with some streets, once I've been down that one, if it isn't interesting, I don't want to go down that one again. Once was enough for me. Besides, there are so many new places and streets to explore, so why waste time on ones that aren't interesting. My own inner compass will guide us to find a new place to see. All she has to do is follow me and let me be the guide. After all, I am my own north star and guiding light. Snort.
